certainly not...although its not adviced to play games online before they are due to be released. Like for example forza3 has been out for about a week now some ppl that have been playing online have got banned. if you wait to play online until after the release date you should be all sweet.

i have my xbox modded as well. I will never pay full price for a game again. My computer sucks so i dont burn my own games. I pay the guy who modded my xbox $10 for each game i want. Once i gte a better computer i will burn my own games.

well playing the games early will not get you banned. what will is the seath patches you gotta make sure that they are installed and correct, if not then you will be banned. i always play games before the actual release never been banned.

Nah man ya got it all wrong theres nothing to worry about. I got my XBOX modded sometime last month and I have been playing burned games on it with no problems whatsoever. Just dont play games before the release date because if you do then you'll get banned from LIVE. Just wait til the release date then play them.

You must have a DVD Dual Layer burner in order to burn these games and use "Verbatim" brand discs as those have the best quality discs. They are kinda expensive but when you think about it for just one game is $60 and when you burn about 3 or 4 games thats $240 saved right there. I went to Craigslist and found some guy with experience who modded it for me and only charged me $45 so ya should check Craigslist around ya area.

On a side note: On the site Papoose posted there is a guy who you can trust and he sells the games on there and only charges $3 a game which is one hell of a deal you cant go wrong with that.

3rd wave games? ive had mine modded for bout 2 yrs but now all games come with some 3rd wave tech on it, i heard you can patch games aswell as stealth but i dont know how to patch. lol (i know i can google it dont worrie jus cba)

doesnt void the warranty because you just take the sticker off carefully with a blow dryer and then put it back on after you have done modding the console. burning games are easy and i never stealth them just wait till they get released and then just play em on live.
