but it hasn't.

The new album is called The Wizard of Poetry. It is an R&B album. When I say that, this is what I mean: Ghostface usually raps over melodic, soulful R&B tracks. This time, we came around and I had him rhyme over the same type of tracks, but we matched him with great R&B stars. John Legend is on there. Raheem DeVaughn is on there. Estelle is on there. Musiq Soulchild is on there. Lloyd is on there. We just paired him up. It’s the same Ghost, the same gritty host, the same Ghost that talks to the ladies in that soulful voice along with R&B hooks.

I wasnt sure how to feel about this at first, but seeing the guest lineup gives me hope. the key to this album being good or not is going to be diversity, it cant all sound like the same R&B track with a different singer doing the hook, Ghost is going to need to cook up some unique sounding shit, hope he pulls it off

As long as the beats aren't half assed it should be decent. Finesse is dope with these types of beats, but I highly doubt he contributed to the album, although in an interview with him a few months ago, he did say that he was workin' with Ghost on some shit, so who knows. I hope Pete Rock drops a few cuts for him, but uh, anyone got a definite producer list, let me know. Until then, just cause it's Ghost, I'll continue to happily await it's release.

I agree with you in full ILL, with cats like Finesse and Pete Rock on this Ghost would easily be able to pull this off, god that would perfect actually.
