I'm with you on the lyrics. But the whole album is unlistenable. The subject matter is a weak replication of his Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers joints. The punchlines are merely intended for shock-value without intelligent word-use. I agree that his rhyme schemes are still incredibly sick, but it isn't fun to listen to anymore because he uses that weird voice more than half of the time (it's some sort of drunken arab-stereotype thing, I have no idea what he was aiming for really).

Eminem was always dope because he was innovative. He lost that! Every album has been different. Just like Encore, however, he has again tried to be his old self. I liked the Eminem Show because he showed another side of himself, which was his grown self. He should stick to evolving himself as an artist realistically. His character isn't believable. I don't think it's funny or smart, let alone musically pleasant. I'm not trying to discredit you or anything, I respect your judgment, but do you see what I mean?

I done already told you music dont age muh fucka! people are just going to be able to appreciate it more for the sheer fact that when you look back on 09 its going to be miles ahead of what anything else was doing lyrically or flow wise. Em said it best in that bonus track, people dont appreciate his albums until years afterwards when they've had time to reflect how shitty the music surrounding it was and how much more advanced it was even compared to the good music

Never been a MOS fan, I tought I'd give him a try with this album..... Still not a fan though. A few good tracks but I can't see myself giving it a third spin If even a second
