pps. I'm probably the only one to notice this, but i'm really lovin the cover. reminds me of an old 90's rap album. Simple cover... the tagged up wall with stickers, Quik and Kurupt in plain black clothes with no SwAgGeR SuRfInG in sight. Just simple dope Hip Hop people making grown music.

i peeped the album.....nothing great......im probably gonna be the only dude hatin on it.......9 times outta 10 got me hyped, but none of the tracks stick out imo...that jupiter skit is fuckin wack....what the fuck were they thinkin....am i the one who got the wrong version of this album? let me know.....its a diff approach from them and i think its great

but they used 9times outta 10 to lead us on to this...i was expectin lot more

album is pretty dope, very smooth, chill out album. Perfect for the summer weather, would play this in my car if the cd player still worked. few weaker cuts but nothing terrible, Kurupt isnt nearly as lyrical as I would like but he does his thing, Quik is the star of the show though. his flow and lyrics are as on point as ever.

Honestly, I was waiting for this album more for Quik than I was Kurupt, both as an MC and the guy behind the boards.

The album's overall vibe is very chill and smooth like Shyne said. Quik said that he's trying different sounds with the album, and overall... it sounds somewhat 'tribal' and 'melodic' if that makes sense. Quik delivers a smooth flow almost 24/7... Kurupt isn't the same lyrical force, however... it wouldn't really match the album's vibe if he was. 9 x's Outta 10 is the only song I really could picture him stepping his lyrics up .. and he pretty much did.

It's a great album for the time it dropped now. Has some weaker tracks.. but overall pretty dope.

One thing that could've made the album a lot more "popular" = features and co-productions. This album is kinda like if someone tossed Quik a blank CD and said "you 2 make an album in a week." Matter fact, they did make this album in about a week or so I believe.

4/5 (for me though, because I'm a huge fan of Quik's production and raps)

3/5 from a non-biased standpoint. I'd give it a 4 really, but the potential didn't match up with the release.

See people...Yall could talk a little more like this when you talk about or review a hip hop album...The vibe of the album itself, flows that match beats and not always kill beats. etc.

All I can really hope for after this is older Westcoast artists coming together to make group albums. I love seeing how 2 MCs or producers come together and mesh their styles together. It's always a nice surprise.

Next 2 artists I would like to see: Cube & Quik. Shit would be immense.

From the east, we got that Nas and Damien Marley album coming out, can't wait for that.

Quik is def one of the most underrated artist ever, too bad Kurupt didnt really come through on this, Quik def needs to keep on this road of working with other artist though, about time he spread some of his skills around again

for the record I would like to see maybe a Quik and Murs album or possibly a Snoop and Quik album
