This year I'mma skip the essay and jump straight to what I've been bumpin' lately...

I was actually plannin' on doin' my top-whatever-of-the-year-thus-far but I don't care enough to peep much new shit. Right now I'm more interesting in broadening my scope far as hip-hop goes. So for the most part, these days (when I'm not workin') I'm peepin' older catalogues that I've slept on. Not that I've slept on Reefy or Ace (those albums are random picks

).

Mad props on the recommendations. Right now, actually, I'm plannin' on peepin' The Beatnuts' discography. I've bumped A Musical Massacre a LOT, but don't own the album, otherwise I woulda posed with it

. Problem is, that's ALL I've heard, aside from that joint they did with Pun (same sorta scenario with a few other artists), hence the need for more music.

Word, AMM is one of my favorite albums of all-time, shit is mad dope. I was feelin' Street Level too, but other than those two dope albums, I never felt the rest of they discography much.
