For all my collector brovas out there, if you have an OOP cd, brand new, still in the shrinkwrap, but it has a notch in the spine, would you open it or keep it wrapped. Does it still have the same value wrapped even if it is notched or if you have a notched OOP does shrinkwrap even matter at that point?

good question ILL, Ive actually thought about this same thing.
See for me, the notch's or holes in the bar code, they have never bothered me, nor have they diminished the value of a cd for me. I suppose there is some cats out there who that would bug the shit out of, but overall I honestly dont think it matters that much. now the thing about keeping it wrapped, above anything else, is it lets whoever you're selling it to (if you do indeed sell it) know that the cd and inserts are in mint condition, obviously the back insert isnt gong to be mint but it does give that peace of mind that the cd and everything else remains untouched. anyways thats my 2 cents, if you ever plan on flipping it for a profit then I would def keep it sealed.

Hmm, okay thanks for the input. The notch/cut-outs never really bothered me much as well.
