07/24/08 - Went CD Shopping Yesterday..

and picked up some shit most of you wouldnt care about, Rock, Jazz, Blues, ect.

Anyways I was at homers getting ready to check out and somthing caught my eye, a 99 cent section, I thought I would dig through it and see what I could come up with. First thing that caught my eye was Sean Price - Jesus Price Superstar, they had 2 copys of this, brand new, for 99 cents, wtf? lol

I ended up copping both of those to flip on amazon or ebay, Big Puns first album, 50 Cents Get Rich, and a few other joints all for 99 cents each lol.

Also copped Vast Aires new album, sounds decents enough, no where near Cold Vien Vast of course but its solid, also if you're tempted to check out that Brookly Zu album...dont, shits wackness. Sounds poorly made, vocals suck, hooks are horrible, beats are aight, and the rappers are zzzzzzzzzz

Yezzur, Love me some Velvet Underground, I grew up on a lot of this shit from my brothers and now that im a grown man living on my own I decided I cant keep borrowing their shit lol, ive been trying to pick up all the albums I remember loving so much when I was growing up.

and nah that Miles album is from 62, his last album with Gil Evans actually. From what I hear though its his weakest collabo with Evans so it gets slept on, I havnt actually checked this one myself yet though so im not sure.

I did pick up a new Miles Davis ep with Nas and Olu Dara on it though.

God I love Circuit City. CIII was advertised for 12.99 and Nas for 13.99... I go to the counter and both are 9.99.

Hot Rod, which is a fuckin bad ass movie... funny as shit.... was $19.99.... but then turned out to be $14.99.

And the game, which I have never seen or heard, was $20.. so it was worth the cop. Dug it out of some other shit that was <$20... I coulda gotten NBA 2K8 or Live 2007 as well... but this shit looked dope.

ps. yes haters, that is THA CARTER III. That album is dope.... nuff said.
