04/28/08 - Went to that Tech N9ne, Ill Bill, and Paul Wall show last night…

Showed up about 630, doors opened at 7, opening act was out by 720. While I was waiting in line the homie Prozak came up and introduced himself, not sure how many of ya’ll heard of him but he has an album coming out, one of Tech’s dudes, he was cool, we said a few words, punded it, and kepts it moving.

Marz from the Chi town started things off, dudes wasn’t very lyrically gifted at all, and their songs were bullshit, but damn their beats fucking banged hard and they had decent enough control over the crowd, for an opening act they held it down and did their thing.

After they perform the DJ starts talking, I decide to hit the merch tables and see what they have, I cop a few Ill Bill cd’s an turn around an damn near run into Paul Wall, dude really does post up like a mail box cause he didn’t move for shit, looked at him, said my peace and kept it moving.

Hit the floor again when the DJ started talking about Non Phixion. Soon enough Slain hit the stage, hyping up the crowd, after a few words Bill hit the stage, he performed a few songs off Black Metal before going into a new joint off his album that sounded insane. Now for the first song their wasn’t many people on the floor, don’t think many cats knew who this was, but after Bill dove into that new joint muh fucka’s looked up and started flooding that bitch, soon everyone had two middle fingers in the air and Bill dove into Black Helicopters, the crowd went nuts. He did a few more Non Phixion songs then had the DJ cut the beat, him and Slain started spitting some shit back and forth and I swear Slain was fucking murdering it, dude got so into his verse he made the hairs on the back of my neck stand, it was electric. After this Slain did a solo then Bill dropped one more track and they were out. DJ Eclipse was also their, he yelled at some cat who turned the smoke on on the stage lol.

By this point Paul Wall was getting ready to hit the stage, I went to sit with my girl but noticed Slain had hit the merch area so I went their instead, I chopped it up with him for a minute, talked about how dope that Special Teamz joint was, and got a poster of Ill Bills new album.

Paul Wall had a long fucking set and I spent most of it sitting in the back chillin with my girl, from what I could see though dude did his thing, no hate to him. He rocked the crowd, his music was bangin hard, and he was into it so it wasn’t a complete loss.

Tech’s set didn’t start for like 40 fucking minutes after that, I got bored of sitting so I went and hit up Paul Wall who was just chilling in the back, I kicked it with him until Tech was ready, dude was mad cool, just hangin out and pushing his shit, I don’t like his music but he was a pretty good guy.

Tech finally hit the stage, dude’s performance was so fucking well choreographed, you could tell he had put in a lot of work on this, I was very impressed. He literally had the crowd in the palm of his hand, EVERY muh fucka there hit the dance floor and Tech rocked EVERY last one of them. He told the girls to take their shirts off and soon enough their were tittys, he told the people to put their lighters up and that bitch lit up, they hung on his every word. He easily had the best set, just fucking tore it down. He did his thing for like an hour and bounced, def an ill show.

Also for any Tech N9ne fans his new album Killer has like 32 tracks and it’s a double disk, he handed out a bunch of promo’s and shit sounds much better then his last joint.

well the tour was called "Fire and Ice" so im guessing it was either Paul Wall or Jeezy, and since Jeezy was there the day before....

i went to the 8th,9th,and 10thtech n9ne shows, three nights in a row of moshing a gettin fucked up, the second show in providence was the best me and my boys fucked bitches up in the mosh pit it was ill, i wanna go to 2night show but i gotta work
