How can anyone not love, let alone like, The Roots. I mean, they're like one of the few groups that would help us defend Hip Hop in a musical level that other people would be able to respect.

Album is pretty dope. Again, I can't really get into the Roots too much, but on a musical sense, they're different and I could respect that.

Plus Black Thought is just amazing. I been a fan of his for years now.

2nd half of the album is the better half in my opinion. This needs some time to sink in... but I'm sure I'll be feeling it more as the time passes.

to all the serious Roots fans here, does this album even come close to Game Theory to you guys?

dunno... they're pretty different to me. this one is a lot less dark- its way easier to listen to cover to cover in an afternoon blazed up, but its not really as musically ambitious, in my opinion
