I was just killin some time at a CD store, and I found Dilated Peoples' The Platform, now I always knew this was their debut, but never got around checking it...The thing is the price just made me cop it, and shit be banginnn...Nice beats and flows and shit, only flaws is, maybe in the future, it would get a lil boring, since all of the beats be kinda loud on something that can get monotonous...But for now, CD be mad flavorful.
Anyone checked this joint yet?

The Platform is definitely their best album, with a dope combination of lyrics and production. But like you said, it does get old once you get your hands on another album. It's worth the cop, but it's not somethin you'll come back to anytime in the distant future.

By the way, if you're thinkin' bout coppin any other Dilated (solo or individual) albums, don't. Everything after The Platform was mediocre to whack, in my opinion (hence 20/20, shit was disappointing).

Production was on point. Ev's lyrics aren't anything special. Granted, he's not the worst.. but you don't see him on too many "top ___" lists.
