Here it is, me and Vocab (Shyne) on a track.

Shyne got first verse, I'm second.

READ: When the window comes up, PRESS PAUSE TO LET IT STREAM, otherwise it will be choppy and slow, it is a relatively big file, let it stream for about 3-4 minutes.

Also, just on a sidenote, I recorded this just as I was recovering from the flu, so forgive the little stuffiness/lack of energy I may have. Either way, any questions on lyrics (on both sides) we'll drop 'em.

Aight, first thing's first is the production, easiest to critique usually, especially when it's as good as this beat...the dark vibe is very dope, does a nice job of setting the whole ambiance for the track...and even though it seems like it's going to be one section that gets looped, the thrown in scratches are an excellent touch, and then the brake between the main sections is a good transition as well....the main drums aren't conventional (in a good way), and then the over-layer of what seems to be keys and some sort of string layer or synths on initial listen combines for what is overall a pretty excellent beat...although I'd like to see u/g's flip the style up from the expected mood, Stoupe-esque beats, however good they may be

Shyne...starts off the track very well, but surprisingly, at times it seems as if you're still trying to catch up with the beat because you're trying to get so many syllables in, so the flow wasn't bad, but it wasn't your best ...at times it's more apparent than others....lyrically, you killed it again ...."universal voice"...."Satan is anticipating"......"swelling in my chest"........are all outstanding lines to say the very least....one thing I always notice is that your rhyme patterns are never conventional, and on this track, the patterns you employ are very nice....energy, emotional, voice all fit the track quite nicely, but I'm curious as to how a more slowed-down verse would have sounded on this production

i disagree wit ATI's gayass review....i actually aint feelin postin a long review, but he's right on some levels though......

Mucho love on the review and critism doggy. My flow is always a haf second behind the beat as it is and I actually slowed it down more on this track so im thinking thats probably why you noticed it this time, usually im just firing off syllable after sylleable at a non stop pace, I was going for a more raw take on the beat since its so grimy so I left in the gaps of me taking a breath to start re-firing, guess it didnt work as well as one would have hoped lol

as always though my friend your review is somthing im always going to look forward too. and im sending G mad love too for the lone fact that he has Guilty in his avy, much love G!

Shyne - ya vocab was tight and you kept hittin the beat with rhyme after rhyme..dope internal rhymes and ya flow was pretty good....

Illogic - ya flow started of good the first few bars then kinda sucked from there....ya multies were pretty solid through out...ya punches were decent besides that 'only way yu shit on me is if you put ya cd on my chest'...the whole 'shit' wordplay is mad played...but ya lyrics were straight..

p.s. interesting tidbit, this is the first track ive been om where, for most of it im just using my natural voice with little to now dubbes. I thought it would help make it feel more raw in the end. Its just me spitting over the beat with a few little dubbs sprinkled in.

Here's my short and sweet review

Shyne

- Lyrics were immense... nice as usual and the wordplay was dope. Your flow to me still needs work... and my biggest problem is that you try to spit way too much. I know you can do it and got it in you, but you can make it more simplistic for the sake of better delivery. The beat also overpowered you... some of your words seemed inaudible to me.

iLLogic

- Flow needs work. I mean I could understand what you were saying for the most part, but some of the shit you said was off-beat which was causing me to catch up with you. It does indeed sound stuffy like you said which caused the lack of energy (although this is the first time I heard you spit)

I'll be honest though.... thought you would've come on some totally different, mind-blowing shit.... but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

My final goes.... Shyne >> iLLogic as far as this track goes.

not to answer for Nok, but I can assume that for some people, when the flow isn't on point, it can tend to lower the status of the verse immediately to a certain degree, because how it's said is arguably just as important as what is said

shyne - like nok said i think the beat kind of overpowered your voice, but your flow was on point, multis were ridic', lyrics were good, loved the the final 4 bars

illogic - i thought your voice overpowered da beat... your punches were great, i thought the highlight was the dead miners line... flow was slightly off, but it wasn't really the flow that killed it off for me but ya mic presence... and to me your style sounds too much like jus allah
