01/07/08 - Reason why the UG collabo track is still on hold

Aight here it is...

I just copped a MIDI keyboard 2 days ago so I can finally crank out that beat. I was already working on one but thought I'd go more 'studio' on it to give it an official sound if you feel me. (no homo)

I was looking to buy one for a minute and finally decided to. So you guys have to bear with me so I can understand the gist of it. So far, it's been mad complicated. I'm using Ableton Live 6.0 and I have no idea how this shit works. I finally got the hang of arming the MIDI's to the keyboard and being able to lock the knobs on the interface. Worst part of all is that the fucking tutorials are so simple that they don't give you any background info on what the things mean at all. So I need to play around with it on my free time until I get the hang of it and am able to actually record. Good part about it is that I can now crank something out the way I want it to sound with the sound kits that come with it (although they are limited).

Long story short, gimme some time and I promise I'm get ya'll something good. In the meantime, if the Tokuzo team wants to interfere in the short break, I don't mind............

Look, you don't need an excuse or a reason or whatever. I'd rather you take the whole fuckin' year and deliver some fly-ass shit than spend two weeks on some bullshit. Take as much time as you need. Doesn't matter how many programs you gotta master, how many sounds you gotta experiment with, how many revamps you gotta go though. I know you're gonna come with some lovely shit.

It's hard to get the timing/beat with the acapellas. Pretty sure you are going to love it.
