I've listened to quite a few of 50's interviews and he's obviously very articulate - but when it comes to hip-hop, dude makes himself look like a stone cold idiot. Why is it that sales matter so much now, yet when Young Buck's albums didn't get its proper due from Interscope when the 3 crossover songs didn't do as well as expected, all of a sudden it became a question of Buck's performance on record and not how many records he sold? If Nas, Jadakiss or Game did 140k their first week he'd be on every radio station crackin' jokes 'bout "how hard they flopped." It's impossible for dude to come up with legit reasoning to what makes an artist (particularly rap artists) dope or wack. And no, potential crossover appeal and BDS spins don't count. And quoting Inspectah Deck when he was trying to mock GZA doesn't exactly help his case.

Secondly, 50 is indeed very articulate. Truth be told, he doesn't get enough credit for being actually one of the more brighter rappers out there. However, on the topic of Hip-Hop... he doesn't know shit about the circumstances of the real culture.

The reason he's acting so dumb on record (or recordings) now is because he knows the Wu are legendary... but sees their "absence" from the game as a target point. If it was someone his own size, dude would actually air them out in a sensible way. But since he really has nothing on them (whether it's sales, fame, or whatnot... cuz the Wu has all of them), he just acts dumb and numbs himself so listeners can just laugh and say 'FUCK YA!!!11' w/o knowing what the case in hand really is about.

This shit nearly left me speechless... motherfukcer is talkin about wu bein dust heads but that mother fucker got caught doin coke backstage lol. He removed any doubt for me that hes one of the dumbest motherfuckers in exsistence when he hated on Decks verse, that was one of the best verses of all time... but he hated on it and said method man was his favorite which is cool but his reason made me laugh "methodman is my favorite cause he spits gun verses aha" lol he got deck and gza confused too
