but i'm not so sure about Jay's raps on American Gangster. so i look at it as a way to ruin a legend

The Godfather Score= excellent
American Gangster LP= excellent

it seems like a no-brainer, but it just doesn't work aside from two or three songs

Cottt daaammmnnnn.... 'Blue Magic' has an ill beat.

Shit is dope as fuckkkk. And Jay's flow sounds real nice on the tracks so far... calm and laid back, matches the mafioso style.

It's a different musical experience... i'm feelin' it so far.

Blue Magic is by far the best mix, Hello Brooklyn, and one other were also very good

Shame on them for trying it out on Roc Boys. You just cannot out the original beat no matter what .

I haven't listened to the tape but that Hello Brooklyn beat on the reg album is just terrible. I'm pretty sure anything would sound better.

although the beat was extremely simplistic and repetitive... I loved the snares on that beat... shit was ill. And it bumps like fuck in the ride... until you bump it yourself, you wouldn't know. But that shit was hard.
