Sometimes, for crazy pricing reasons, I cop CDs not even knowing what am I going to really get. Sometimes it turns out good, and I discover some dope shit, but also many times its just trashy as a fuck CDs. I'll try to look up for some examples tomorrow, I bet yall be amazed.

Me and Deep are on the same page, he's really the only other cat aside from me who I know that will cop random albums based on price. Like i'll see somthing cheap and have no idea what the fuck it is and cop it anyways.

That being said I buy albums even if I dont like them if I find them cheap enough, I just trade them off for cd's I do like with my people. The worst would probably be...2pac Nu Mix Clazziks I think.

Damn, I got a bunch of shit albums I bought, but nothing that will remotely top Shyne or DS, 'cause even though I got a lot of trash shit, it's still basically 'underground' type shit. But here are a few, I'll look thru my collection later to get some more...

I liked 'Will Rap for Food' a lot. Why the hate, illogic?

The worst album I ever bought...hmm...that's kind of hard, because the overwhelming majority of the albums I buy were not purchased by spontaneous motivations. I guess Beg For Mercy was a great disappointment, but I can't think of any other at the moment.

I was expecting Meth's old, grimey Tical sound, not some commercial-ass predictable rhyming. Shit was pathetic. And as for the CL albums, I bought 'em cause they were on sale, listened to both of 'em a couple of times, shit was whack, like all QN5's shit. (Besides the occasional dope PackFM joint)

And MD, wow, I'm suprised you put Comm's Like Water For Chocolate on there, a lot of Comm heads love that album (not me of course). But damn, I was suprised with that one.

Comm heads overrate Like Water, dubbin' it a neoclassic, the 'one of the most cohesive albums of the decade' and a 'must-own for any hip-hop fan' - but they're retards. LWFC = snoozefest. In fact, the only thing that saved "The 6th Sense" from falling into the monotonous rut with the rest of the album was Preemo.

No hate, but Montana Dairy needs to get butt raped, then someones gonna sew his ashole closed, get fed like 30 meals, to finally get dumped in a residual water river...All that for talking like that on LWFC.

Man what about tracks like Heat, Dooinit, The Light, damn I should just post the whole tracklist. But well, maybe it's cuz you ain't much interested on different sounding shit. I don't get it though.

"Different-sounding shit"? Every song sounded the same. Of course, with J Dilla behind the boards I'm not surprised. Slum Village was always merely a poor man's version of A Tribe Called Quest.

Well MD, then theres no point on discussin this one. Since it's a matter of taste, though I really think you should re check that album. And if you ask me, I prefer an album to sound uniform, and I'm not saying that every track sounds the same, instead of it sounding like a compilation of beats.

I dunno, maybe one day when I'm mad bored. We'll see. I like albums with a 'uniform' sound too, but if you ask me, so many producers pull it off a thousand times better than J Dilla (Preem, Alche, Pete Rock, RZA, Hi-Tek, etc). He doesn't make a different song, he just makes the same beat over and over and over again. I could never get into Comm's cadence either.
