From what I understand Eso was trying to get el-p to sign him back in the day but el wasnt feeling him. Then Eso started catching feelings later on and tried to Diss el and DefJux for being "nerd Rap". Eso and Def Jux dissed each other back and forth for a while, EL-P killed Eso with his verse on Aesop Rocks "We're Famous", Then Eso replyd with a Diss where he pretty much shitted on DefJux (yeah the diss was actually dope, im suprised too). Then 7L & Eso released this album...

and DefJux won, seeing as how that album sounds like a bootleg DefJux album and has the King of nerd rap on it, Kool Keith(who outshined Eso pretty badly I might add).
