it was dope as fuck. if anyone else was in milwaukee at summerfest, you know what I am talking about. I haven't seen a free stage that hyped in years... not even when Talib came last year. It was people everywhere... and Common did a like six minute freestyle over the New York Shit beat talking about Midwest Shit... dope as hell... he did a little break dancing, played his own keyboards for a while...

well the way summerfest works, it goes on for 11 days... and there are like ten stages, each going all day. Hip hop started on the stage Common was on at six pm with a sort of hip hop/pop/reggae group called cat empire. then a bunch of local acts came on, including a pretty dope group called Rusted Peas. Right before Common, a pretty wack ATL artist called Cofa Boy came on. Common's show was dope, and went about a half hour longer than the hour he was scheduled for.
