this is from Aesop and its a few months old so it might be old to news to a lot of you.

working on this new record (still untitled). so far block and me on beats. wiz on cuts. i'm trying to be really picky this time around. i hope you all like it whenever it is finished. no date yet and yes i will be taking my time you bastards!!! the up side to that is that its looking like i'll have a bunch of shit that doesnt make it to the record, which i may release as a seperate tour-only deal. come and get your 2nd rate aesop rock songs! so far the keepers i have i am very pleased with. i hope to have a lot of story rhymes, with beats that make you think "this would be good for a story rhyme".

'No Regrets' is still my favorite Aesop song and I always wished he would mess with more story tracks, looks like my wish might come true

"i teamed up with san francsio artist jeremy fish (sillypinkbunnies.com). we made a 30 page picture book (well he drew the thing) that comes with a 7" picture disk. the a-side corresponds to the illustrations, a turn-the-page-when-you-hear-the-chimes type thing. read along when you play blah blah.... ahh sweet sweet youth. it is called "the next best thing". the b-side will be a song i did for a short film being made about jeremy (sort of, cant really explain it at this time). wiz did cuts on both. should be available mid-summer for interested parties. this will be a limited edition thingy, though i am not sure how limited. its not gonna be 100, but not 5000. like my estimate? ......p.s. check out that site, jeremy fish is really ill. "
