^^i think thats somewhat true, but having to sign to death row to get out of jail was the best thing that happened to his career money-wise, but the worst music-wise...then suge kinda of coaxed him into putting on this gangsta-persona that wasn't really there in that kind of way ever before he was on death row... the closest thing you can find is the thug life album but that album touches on a lot of social issues... which is what he mainly rapped about earlier in his career was social and political issues as well as personal issues... but then once he was on death row, he became a whole different person and it kind of ruined what was great about his music to an extent as he became just this gimmick but thats just my thoughts

You can easily name a lot of other MCs that have __ MCs that are better than them, but does that really prove they're wack??

and to me, it always seemed like the people that didn't like Pac at all were those that really couldn't relate to his music.

co-sign. A lot of people speak on Pac like he's a god, but he's not which may be the reason why people think he's overrated. That is understandable... but i don't get how people say Tupac is whack. Tupac may not be the illest mc or dopest lyricist, but his songs do have a profound impact on a lot of people (not just groupies, but real hip hop cats as well).

Yup, he pretty much hit the nail on the head, I dont hate Pac nearly as much as I make it seem, I still bump 'Me Against the World' on the regular, but I do feel he's average and he's never gonna break into my top 20 list, hell probably not even my top 50.
