my votes: Solo Album of the Year: Chino XL - Poison Pen Group Album of the Year: $martyr - Money Symbol Martyrs it was a tight 3 way race for this, i know this won't win overall...but its still the most solid group album all the way through for me DJ/Production Album of the Year: Cut Chemist - The Audience is Listening i thought this one was easy lol...guess not Track of the Year: Chino XL ft. Killah Priest - Beastin' this one was extremely extremely hard but i cant get away from the pure lyrical skill displayed on this track Most Underrated Album: People Under the Stairs - Stepfather Mixtape of the Year: Green Lantern - Alive on Arrival Collab Track of the Year (2 or 3 artists/groups)[track of the year nominations not included]: Zion I, Grouch, Charlie 2na - Too Much $martyr & Lord Zen - 3 Day Eviction Notice (tie) I couldnt force myself to pick between these Multi-Collab Track of the Year (4 or more artists/groups): Zion, Crown City Rockers, Planet Asia, Grouch, Charlie 2na - B Boy Remix Canibus' verse on collateral damage was one of my favorites of the year because following chino AND crooked seemed impossible but he did it somehow, but overall i like this track better lol MC of the Year (best all around performance): Chino XL dude just killed it...planet asia was a close second though Underground Production/DJ'ing of the Year (this IS the underground section, so lets keep the dirty mainstreamist out): Cut Chemist Kno (of Cunninlynguists) (tie)couldnt pick this either because kno's beats were crazy...but cut chemist's album was great also Disappointment Album of the Year: Aceyalone- Magnificent City

Group Album of the Year: I can't vote because I haven't listened to all of the nominations yet. DJ/Production Album of the Year: Stoupe for JMT - Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell Track of the Year: Chino XL ft. Killah Priest - Beastin' (This songs so fucking dope... defiantly my favorite track on Poison Pen. Tap Dancin' & Uncommon Valor come close but not close enough. I know this whole song by heart.) Most Underrated Album: KRS One - Life (Bling, Blung!) hmmm, weird, people actually liked Poison Pen? Ive been a Chino fan for a long time and I was let down when I heard it, I didnt even bother buying it after I got a full listen. Definitely his weakest album.
P.S. I agree with Ra, Donuts was weak as hell, if dude didnt die this album would have been shitted on.
