u know the beat on the new NaS album Who Killed It when he is puttin on the voice ? the beat on it reminded me of this album alot

This is probably DOOM's best solo in my opinion, his lyrics actually make sense for the most part on this album.

Vaudeville Villain was pretty weak to me. It wasn't wack, but it was a fairly tedious listen. Production-wise it felt overly experimental. Also DOOM isn't really the sharpest rhymer (not that he needs to be to make a good record, but it certainly would have made up for the subpar beats). His voice is kinda dull too. Some of the creative concepts on there could have been excecuted a lot more affectively by someone like Canibus or even Ras Kass. Don't get me wrong, there were some dope songs. I dunno... maybe it needs more time to grow on me?

Montana DOOM is kinda an aquired taste, he will gorw on u eventually, thats almost certain, check out Madvillany and Operation Doomsday, see what u think of them

the beats on here WERE experimental cus its a concept album, based around time travel so the betas all sound kinda space age and futuristic

Yeah, he probably will grow on me. I didn't like Cunninlynguists at first either and now they pretty much rule my life (in fact I'm bumpin' "Doin' Alright" as I type this). Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check those out ASAP.
