i listened to it all day in the car.. and im listening to it again. maybe i just dont get it. but i think this is the same reaction that happened when streets disciple came out. everybody said "oh nas is back this shit is hot" when in reality it was bad. everybody wants nas to do good and jump on his bandwagon

yeah im like half way through my 2nd time listening to it and well its not the greatest of the year i mean its good im not ganna lie but there could be some improvements none of these songs i can really feel like 100%... i like it but you guys overhyped this shit making seem like the greatest thing but i was left with some dissappointment

money over bullshit is quite good. Black Republican is bangin but i been bumping that for weeks now. Hip Hop is Dead is a nice track but i like it mostly because of the sample that i think was the song bart gave to the church to sing one time on the simpsons.

second half just sucks.

my theory on the situation is that people make up their opinion about an album based on the first track if its not an intro. as long as you can bump the first track in a car people try harder to like the rest of the album more.

this shit is hot, i had relatively low expectations for it...im not even a big nas fan at all...i havent really listened to anything he put out since illmatic regularly except a few tracks here and there but i loved this album on the first listen...its straight hip hop and good lyrics, meaningful... thats all i ask for
