I have listened to this album many times, and i have been falling asleep because of the mystic strange , but somewhat dope production. And with a few more relistens I have fallen in love with this album. From the introductory on earth as it is Rass Kass starts the lyrical " Rassassination"

"Let the commandments begin again
Cause just like moses on mount sinai, I broke all ten"

From then on Rassy just keeps it goin on Anything Goes. With a raunchey grimey Westcoast funky/ Newyork grimey type of beat and an ill constant flow.

And of coarse lyrical strength...even though this is not the best lyrically it's still above and beyond "good".

"Cause jealousy gets you burned like bad perms
If you live you learn, I spit game like chick hearns
To women with, measurements of 38-24-36 with dsls
But money talks esl"

This song is just a laid back Snoop dogg type of track...but with a skilled MC rippin the beat to shreds.
He even switches his flow to sound Warren G ish.

"The phone rang, my little shorty said what you up to, boo?
Nothing, just chillin like bruh-man on martin do
See only when Im tipsy, when my words start slurring
Do I get causght telling lies like mark furhaman"

My favorite beat on the album, Reelishymn is deffinately ill. The realism of the track will deafinately make you think with lyrics like this.

So when the sun sets west,
I rock and slap box with hip-hop;
Cuz its much harder to get props than it is to fall off and flop
I payed dues til I paid do nots.
And will never will what you say affect the outcome --

The best song on the album. The nature of the threat. I wont say anythin about it because i dont have to....just listen.

After that song its hard to understand why he put Etc next. The beat is the worst on the cd and his crew members definately get no shine after rass tears shit up.

Sonset is also not the strongest beat but even with that being said rass shines on every bar. And so far no tracks are weak even without the greatest production because of bars like...

Anyone remember Coolio??...anyway back on track this song has another strange fluty? beat, and a strange collabo. However as you can guess what Rass does ... but Collio's hook is kind of dope... but back, to the focus of the track.

So now I lie, cause bitches are like flies {why? }
They attract to the best shit {oh!}"

Wow...ill beat....great lyricism imagery and thought provoking.

An amazing track with another great concept. I'll let the hook tell it.

Miami Life is another good beat...one of the few but still great. This is basiccaly the conformation of Miami's gangstarism. Still dope....

Schoolin, I be high refusin to listen to what the pta say
Eff a four point oh gpa I got a five point oh gta
Hittin the chop shop, with an eta of 3 oclock, so shake the spot

The second best song after of course the incredible Nature of the threat. This one similarly canot be reviewed it must be herd.

Order Abchao or order out....the final song... a great finisher. The last word on the last verse is the best way to finish this thought provokin album.

Classic album but the review was a little shaky. Lmao @ four point oh. It's 4.0 there's a few other spelling errors and such but it was decent. Dope ass album tho, definetly top ten

Yeah, Soul On Ice Is The Shit. The Only Down-Side To It Is That It Can Get Boring At Times. Still A Brilliant Album Though, A Lyrical Masterpiece.
