KRS One - KRS One (track by track)
alot of people on this site have been saying this was pretty good. i gave it a relisten earlier today in school and now im in detention so i thought i'd share my thoughts
1 "Rappaz R. N. Dainja"...4.5/5 2 "De Automatic"...5/5 3 "MC's Act Like They Don't Know"...5/5 4 "Ah-Yeah"...4.5/5 5 "R.E.A.L.I.T.Y."...5/5 6 "Free Mumia"...5/5 7 "Hold"...2/5 8 "Wannabemceez"...5/5 9 "Represent the Real Hip Hop"...4.5/5 10 "The Truth"...1/5. (not a bad track but it can be proven wrong way too easily.) 11 "Build Ya Skillz"...4/5 12 "Out for Fame"...4/5 13 "Squash All Beef"...3/5 14 "Health, Wealth, Self"...3/5 OVERALL: 4.5/5 real good album. i liked it better second time around. glad i gave it a second listen. still not as good to me as alot of people say. his second best album in my opinion. (1-By All Means Neccessary, 2-KRS One, 3-Return of the Boom Bap, 4-I Got Next...) |

NO hate, but this review was whack as shit. KRS-One self titled album is easily a 10/10 or a 5/5 whatever scale you use. It's a classic and easily a top 5 album. You can't make your idea about it after only listening to it twice, re listen to it and tell me it's not a classic, top 5 (or at least top 10) album.

I'm with ILL on this one. Every song on that is ill as fuck to me (dawg how do you NOT love "The Truth"???). Dunno 'bout Top 5 but defintely Kris' best album and one of my favourites of all time. Props on the review anyway.
