so Guilty Simpson and Madlib are making an album, so are Pete Rock and Planet Asia...
thoughts?
First, Guilty Simpson and Madlib are dropping an album in june titled OJ Simpson DX: Yeah. That’s got to be ill. So, what else do you have coming up? GS: I have some work with Sean Price. Even before that I have my album Ode to the Ghetto. I’m putting in a lot of work with the homie Jay Electronica. I’ve known him for years. Heads are really starting to look at him now, but that’s another incredible artist who I enjoy working with. Madlib and I are working on this free EP called OJ Simpson. Madlib is the OJ and you know who I am. [Laughs] I’m working with The Goon Squad, too. I have a lot of things in the works. It’s just enough to let people know that I’m out here, grinding, and that I have a lot more songs that I can bring to the table. I am really going to give people some quality shit next up Pete Rock is hooking up with Planet Asia for the album 'Planet Rock', also he' suppose to be working on the new Smif-N-Wessun album as well as the new Dogg Pound album, as most Pete Rock fans know though he's more talk then action so if any of these actually happen i'll be shocked.

im looking forward 2 the Pete Rock one more tbh. Planet Asia is one of my fave MCs of all time and PR's beats r killer so thats an ultimate combo.
If its free tho ill pick up the OJ Simpson EP as well, as i quite like Guiltys ish, but never been a proper fan of his stuff, id pick some stuff up if it was going cheap but i wouldnt go all out 2 get his product. Madlib is heavy of course tho.

I was under the impression that P would be producing the entire Smif-N-Wessun album. No?

Both joints are going to be dope. OJ Simpson & Planet Rock, both sound like sick concepts. Ill lyricist's over dope beats, can't wait to listen to some shit.
