Styles Of Beyond Return With 'Rocket Surgery'
Los Angeles Hip-Hop group Styles of Beyond have announced their first major label album will hit stores in 2008.
MC's Ryu and Takbir and producers DJ Cheapshot and Vin Skully will release Rocket Surgery in 2008. The album will be released via Machine Shop Recordings, the label owned by Linkin Park front man, Mike Shinoda and distributed by Warner Bros. Records. "[The album] cleverly flirts with the concept of opposites - playful and militant, which is based upon everyday ironies," said Styles of Beyond group member Takbir. Styles of Beyond recently finished a mixtape titled Razor Tag, which is hosted by DJ Green Lantern and features Mike Shinoda, Bishop Lamont, Apathy, Celph Titled and others.
