:Ive posted this once before but the wrong spot lol so heres my question again

Me and some friends are trying to establish a home studio. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get one started under a budget though remember we all got bills to pay! Also i was wondering if anyone could break down all the equpment so I have a understanding of them. And one final thing can anyone recemmend programs for i guess producing, recording, and whats needed for mixing. Thank you very much.
