USC

i watched their game on saturday and i was impressed with their running game

their D look lights out. They lost all these guys at linebacker, but they have a good group in there now. they're really fast

i know it was San Jose St but still they dominated

only thing i would worry about for USC is their QB early in the game looked nervous as hell, he made sum horrible throws. but he settled down and had a good game. maybe playing at the Horseshoe might get to him if he doesnt control his nerves

OSU

i watched sum of their game and i liked the way Prior threw the ball. he seem far better as a thrower than last year

wasn't really impressed with their defense, but it might be because their not use to seeing the triple option

my prediction

i think the game will be more competitive than last year. but i think USC's great OLine to go with all their really good running backs will wear down that OSU D and they will get a score late to make to make it a big lead

Tressel's conservative ass playcalling costs OSU just like it did against Texas. How the hell can you call for a field goal on the one yard line? Big time teams play to win, not play not to lose. No killer instinct from him once again. This game is truly his fault.

both teams played conservative. the game was pretty boring

Tressel he's super conservative tho lol. He ain't goin nowhere tho, because OSU is still going to keep dominating the Big Ten. There won't be an excuse to fire him. Buckeyes fans are going to have to be satisfied with winning the Big Ten and going to the Rose Bowl every year. They're not going to win many big time games under him

And that Miami game may be the biggest title game upset of the 21st century. Just look at the names on Miami that year. Winslow, Taylor, McGahee, Andre Johnson, Wilfork, DJ Williams, Vilma, Buchanon. List goes on and on.

you must be forgetting when he beat michigan when they were #1 and #2.

Or when they were unranked he beat the #7 team in the nation.

I'm no fan of his but its obvious his team has the talent to compete with a team like USC it would be nice as a OSU fan, if he implemented some kind of gameplan that is aggresive. He is going to waste 4 years of having a special special talent in Pryor if he doesn't open up the offense.

i would say a #1 vs. #2 rivalry game between those two teams is about as "big" as it gets in college football.

OSU has never really had that great of an offense since Tressel has been here because he plays so conservative. Even the year they won the National title, the offense should have been much better with all of the talent they had. If you can recall the season, they barely pulled off 4-5 wins at the last moment, they were undefeated but they weren't dominating their schedule

Tressel's squad isn't using Pryor right, they need to quit being stubborn and tweek their system to max out his full potential and athletic abilities. He should be running the ball more, more options, etc. LOL @ 1 and ten goaline they can't punch it in. Triple opt? roll out? A fuckin shotgun draw for christ sake? The fastest most athletic player on their team and they don't have ONE gauranteed 3+yd goaline play? Run a hurry up from the shotgun, let Pryor call it from the line and just pick a damn hole

Lastly, this is why I have never been a big college football fan. The rest of the season is over now. I honestly don't care if OSU makes a Bowl and win. If your not in the running for a national championship, it doesn't matter. Now it is just over. The rest of the games have barely any meaning at all to me. The only way it has meaning is if you are someone who will be like "woohoo we won the Big Ten YAY! Lets hope teams lose so we can weesel into the Rose Bowl again and get embarassed again! YAY!!"

I got tix for the game tomorrow in Cle, last Sat in the 3rd Qt I was looking forward to watch them in the Browns stadium, now it's just like meh, I hope there's some hot chicks infront of us. I'll take some pics
