Los Angels,CA-WBA Welter Super Champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley announced today that he is ready to go after Manny Pacquiao's IBO Junior Welterweight Championship belt and for the first time in his illustrious career, is prepared to fight at 140 pounds.

In a statement,Mosley said:

"There in unfinished business to take care of. I have never fought at junior welterweight, but I'm ready to fight at 140 now. I am coming after Pacquiao's belt.

This is the fight the fans want and I'm prepared to give it to them. Its up to Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao to stop running from me and step up to the challenfe. Let's meet in the ring at 140.

I want to reclaim the title of best pount-for-pound fighter in the world. First Pacquiao, then mayweather-I'm ready to put all of the naysayers to rest."

Mosley last faced Antonio Margarito in january 2009 and delivered a ninth-round knockout. He is the current WBA Welterweight Super Champion abd has held titles as a lightweight, welterweight and junior middleweight. Pacquiao is coming off a secon-round knock-out victory over Ricky Hatton in May.

Mosley is the fuckin TRUTH, coming from a HARDCORE Mayweather fan, Mosley would not only beat Pacman but he would also beat Mayweather IMO but I do think IF he was to fight Paul Williams he would lose to Williams by Unanimous Decision

Mayweather gets the fights tho...so yea he'll duck a less money more dangerous fighter but atleast the nigga gets the big fight....Mosley will not get pacquiao because cotoo is a wayyyy bigger draw......ad cotto also beat mosley so if pacquiao wins he'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone......so to me what mosley is doing is tryna justifie himself ducking williams by challeging manny knowing he's not gonna get the fight.....

Not necessarily. Cotto only won that fight because Mosley gave Cotto too much respect and I have to say Mosley did look less than stellar fighting Mayorga.
