this trade seems odd to me, why would they trade him if he's still good?
but if he is can u imagine kobe, gasol and bynum*drooloing*

they wanted expiring contracts....gasol still can put up huge numbers...but he looks like he is riding the white pony lately

compare to last year...he looks awful...physically..

Gasol might be weak, but hes a good offensive player and thats what LA needs to surround Kobe with. More importantly they now have another piece to add to a possible Jason Kidd trade. Even if they dont trade for Kidd, Kobe has a big man to pass it to with Bynum out of the lineup. Plus they get rid of the crap that was eating up their cap space. Aaron McKie hasnt done anything since he backed up AI.
