I'm assuming that you know who Sutter Kain and Cyco from Insane Poetry are. If you don't, keep listening to the wack, commercial, sweet music you call 'mainstream'. There is always a second option.Take all of your mainstream albums, put it in the bag and throw it out of the window. Then come back, sit down, relax and read this article which helps you understand the meaning of the real music.

Two titans, Sutter Kain (CEO of Never So Deep Records, rapper and multi platinum producer) and Cyco of Insane Poetry (one of the creators of horrorcore music, a living legend) came together to create an album. The result? Well I'm listening to the result of their work right now and I'm about to share my thoughts with you.

The album is personal, it says a lot about Cyco's life and career, his struggles and problems. It's also full of violence, hatred and raw brutality that perfectly reflects the world that we live in. If you are not into that kind of stuff, stop reading, run down the stairs, take your bag full of wack popcorn music (if it's still there),take it upstairs and keep listening to that commercial shit you call 'music'. Keep lying to yourself that the world is sweet, it's all about money, fast cars and bitches. Wake the fuck up, the world is cruel, violent and Cyco is serving his poetic thoughts about it on a silver plate. Anyway i don't recommend this solution cause you will never find out what the real music is about! And i'm sure you want to (even if you think otherwise, trust me), so ignore everything around you and keep reading.

Let's take a ride through the sick minds of Cyco and Sutter Kain! The intro perfectly introduces a listener into the album. A man says about imbalance in his existance and that he will make a honest confession of his life. Then the real music starts. The track called 'Gods Of War' is full of hatred and displays a picture of what's going on in the minds of Kain and Cyco. Let me quote a verse or two, 'We are the Gods of war, yes, the carnivores, eat flesh with sharp teeth, we got piranha jaws' or 'this is sick fuck music at it's finest, pure war never peace, you know what time it is'. You know what to expect from the next song, just look at the title, Jihad. Cyco, Insane Poet aka black Edgar Allan Poe in a mind of a suicide bomber, isn't it sick? Fuck yeah it is! The track is lyrically slayed by both Cyco and Kain, with the beat and a few words at the beginning of the song. But let's move on. The next on the playlist is a skit. Man talks about conspiracy and shit, but just listen to the music to this, it's pure poetry. 'Welcome To America' is the real, grim and dark portrait of the 'big american dream'. Cyco spits verses about Bush and even compares him to Hitler! The song features Sutter Kain on the hook, but he says only one sentence, in the middle of it. 'There Will Be Blood' is almost the most aggresive song on the album. When i listen to it, i want to destroy everything around me! That's incredible how can you mix metal with rap but on the other hand, it's still hard to define the combination of these genres thatCyco and Kain put together so well. The hook is also very nice, it's one of my favourite songs from the album. It also features Sutter Kain, he says a few words at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the track. Next on the list is second part of the skit about conspiracy, this one has different music in the background. After that comes the first song with classical rap beat. It's a musical biography of Cyco. He spits verses about his whole rap career from the beginning to the end! The last few verses are about this album, The Snuff Reels. He goes through his whole discography and this is definitely one of my favourites songs. Also, you can hear what Cyco thinks about the haters, 'talk shit about me and Kain, oh you won't faggot, we really love the hate, it only makes us great'. After that we have the newest single called 'Trails Of Blood' which features Sutter Kain. This time he spits more than one verse and he is on the hook. In this track there is only one thing you can hear and that's pure violence. Kain's verses are filled with blood just like the titles says, he's a beast which wants to rip and tear your guts out, no matter what, no matter who you are! But Cyco does it a little bit different, lyrically he's more poetic. The next track is an Interlude so let's move on to the next song. 'Can Not Save Me', this is the most aggresive song on the album. The beat is a devstating combo of rap and metal. Cyco lirycally killed it, just look at this verse 'Lord forgive me, I was supposed to be an architect, now I walk the streets with a mark of death'. 'Bullet For My Valentine', I guess you already know what the song is about. It tells us about modern realtionships between a man and a woman, but it's not your common love story. It features Sutter Kain on the hook. The bottom line - 'i got a bullet for my valentine, i got your name on it babe'. 'My Sweet Misery' aka 'Loser Part 4', this song needs no introduction, i'm sure of it. It's about life, life and life. Also about life and struggles. Definitely one of the best songs on the album. The next skit is very nice and it introduces us to the last song which is called 'The Final Contract'. It about Cyco's religious life, God and Satan. Whats more, it's probably the best song on the album. The beat is classic, not metal rap mix. I can listen to this track forever. Both Cyco and Kain killed it, perfection.

To sum up, 'The Snuff Reels' is definitely off the hook. The CD is iconic for this genre. It's the album of 2008 and that's it. It's worth every dollar. It's also the most aggresive album ever recorded in rap genre! You still don't get it, do you? Go and buy it! After listening to this release your life will never be the same. First of all you will stop listening to the mainstream music, i can guarantee you that. Whats more, you will check out previous Cyco's albums which is a really smart move! And finally, you will rep the underground! The real music, where there are no fast cars and no bitches with big tits. There is only dirt, gore and violence. And that's what we all love!

Oh, advantages and disadvantages, i almost forgot about them. Well, there is only one disadvantage to be honest. The album is too short! It could have been longer but i shouldn't complain because i like every song on the album. There is no average track, all of them are masterpieces. If you think i'm lying or if you just don't belive me, buy it and see for yourself.
