06/04/07 - My Summer Jam 07 Review

THis isnt an official review or nuthen jus my opinion and those of peope who were at summer jam.

Well it was really good besides the fact that it was nonstop pouring the whole night.

It started off in the festival where Da Shop Boyz were doen "Party Like A Rockstar" which was pretty good.

At around 6:00 they opend the gates and let everyone into the stadum. They started the show like 6:30 with MIMS opening up with a verse from "Like This" then he went into doing "This Is Why Im Hot" and then the two guys who do the jamican remix came out nd did that. And that was all for Mims.

Then came TPain he did a really good job. He did "Im Sprung" and cuple other songs then obviously performed "Buy You A Drink".

I forgot the exact order but im pretty sure afterwards was Ciara. She did her rnb songs but in my opinon they deadend the crowd.

After her was Swizz Beats. He did "Money In Da Bank" and started talkin about being a great producer nd shit nd den staretd playin sum beats he made and then he played a beat nd Kanye West came out nd staret rappin. He did "Gold digger" and a cuple other songs. den Swizz Beats was back nd he did "Its Me Bitches' den he sed lets switch the language up a little bit and then the beat stopped. And we heard " voules vous couchez avec moi Bitches" and weezy came out. The crowd went nuts when he came. den they all left and if im not mistaken Neyo came out next.

Neyo did his songs nd brought out Fabulous for "You Make Me Better"

Jeezy did his songs "go getta" and "soul survivor" no Rkelly or Akon tho. He did sum other songs too such as "I luv it" and others. He was on for a goo 15 min. id say. Then he brought out luda

Ludacris was great and maybe one of the best performers of the night. Every song he did the crowd was hyped. He did money maker, stand up, move bitch, whats your fantasy, and sum others. He brought out Bobby Valentino nd did a song wit him too.

Next was chris brown. He opened wit gimme that (no weezy). Then he did run it. Then he did sum other songs. Nd den went into doen "Poppin" Just when every1 thouht he was about to bring out weezy to do the remix he goes wheres mah boy Juelz at and Juelz Santana came out wit him nd did the remix. den weezy came out.

Weezy was so sick. Everyne went nuts when he came back out. He did his verse from "suck it or not" He started off "Make it Rain" leaven every1 to think that he was gona jus do his verse from the remix, but it was the original song nd fat joe came out. Lil Wayne also had a new third verse never heard before on it. He then did Stuntin' Like My Daddy bbringin out Baby. Then as he was about to leave he was thankinthe fans nd every1 nd he sed i got sumthen to tell u nd that old famous song that goes.."AND Illll always....Luv you" comes on nd da crowd started laughing nd he left. He was mad funny.

Ummm... den came Diddy which was rele good. Unlike every1 else so far he actually had rele good lighting and effects (fireworks) His entrance was rele good. EVeryting was blue with smoke and "victory" beat started playin. Den as it started getten into the beat u heard "Yo we cant stay alive forever..." nd diddy came outta the dark doen his verse. He did all newer songs. HE was tryn to liven up the crowd nd sed fuck the rain it never killed ne1. There was all fireworks which rele hyped it up. He den started sayin when i come i always have suprises nd "Its Going Down" started playin nd Yung joc came out. He den did "I Know You See It" nd dat when directly into "Shoulder Lean" bringing Young Dro Out. Diddy then sed I got another suprise. He was like who in heres a King. nd every1 shouted nd den sed sum like Who heres a king in the south. And then T.I. came out. The crowd roared as he came out. He did "What You Know About That" and "Big Things Poppin" Diddy then did last night with keyshia cole and den sed he had 1 more suprise nd told every 1 from BK to shout. Den he sed shes been gone for awhile but now shes back and Lil Kim came out doen sum song i didnt know nd den "Put Your Lighters Up". Diddy was about to leave but before he did he asked every1 to shout out biggie and recite one of his songs.

Akon came out next. He did all of his popular songs except "Smack That" which suprised me. Sumwhere in the back of ma mind i was waitin for him to do that nd then Eminem come out. I figured nething was possible wit him after him doen the Touch It Verse on the BET awards las year. At the end of akons bit. "We Taken OVer" played nd EVERYONE ON The song came out. Fat Joe,Rick Ross came, Birdman,Weezy, all em.

After that I had to leave because my friends were complainin because of standin in rain for 6 hrs. The only 1 left was rich boy nd i dont even like that song that he has so i didnt rele care. But i dont know what happend after i left.

Thats basicalyy everything in a nutshell tho. It was rele good and suprised me cuz like others i thought the lineup sounded bad but was actually really good.

for those who dont know there was two summer jams but not on the same day.
