1. Ain't No Clique: Great way to open up a CD. Great up tempo production great lyrics and great chorus. The only thing that is holdin this song back from being straight fire is Yayo's verse. While not bad it doesnt match nowhere near Banks'.

2. Playboy: Might take a couple listens to like but is one of the most original songs you can find. Stop and go flow fits the production perfect. Banks puts his best punchlines into this verse. "I'll red your head and you'll be a Rodman", and " Even my father knows, when the revolver goes, I'll bring the beef to your front door like Dominoes."

3. Warrior: I loved this song right away. Why, because of the catchy hook, Has a great flow but his lyrics are not top notch, Lacks multies on his first verse but steps his shit up in the second.

4. On Fire: The best produced song on the whole album and the best song. Great lyrics and another catchy hook. NOthing else needs to be said about this song because yall know about it.

5.I Get High: This is actually a good weed song, it outshines anything that 50 or Yayo have put out. Lyrics are great again but he lacks punchlines compared to his other verses.

6. I'm So Fly: Another great produced track by Timbaland. Banks reveals how cocky he is about his self in the is song. Another song everyone has heard so nothing else to say.

7. Work Magic:This is personally my favorite song Banks has ever made. Has a Southern beat which so happens features who other than Young Buck. The thing is this is a straight gangst song that could have been a single. It's that good.

8. If You So Gangsta: Nice track, One of Banks' best hooks. He is questioning how others are gangsta in this song,"If you so gangsta then why you tuck your chain in when you walk in the club." Etc. My favorite punchline is in here also, "Before Banks' tells pop wont sell, I'll feed a nigga a shell like Taco Bell."

9. Warrior Pt. 2: A different beat most are used to listening too. Produced well by eminem. Another original song, everyone in the song; 50, Banks, and Em are talking about themselves in 3rd person in their verses. What makes me like it is it's not about cars, guns, jewelry, etc.

10. Karma: Chick song, It's pretty good but not a song the guys would like unless your a dickrider. Just for the popularity of the song it gets a decent rating.

11. When the Chips Are Down:Not the best produced song but Banks turns it into a great song. The Hook is perfect for the song. Banks is crack in his verse while this is one of Game's first so it was average at best.

12. Till the End:This is one of my favorite songs ever and what made me a Banks fan. He is talking from his heart on this one. Shows everyone how it was growing up, how he's hated on, etc. Good production by Em again.

Die One Day: This is the worst song on the album sorry to say. It is poorly produced and Banks' verses are just sub par. Nice concept but seemed like his only filler on the album.

South Side Story: THis is similar to Til the end but he is telling stories about the street. It's quite impressive the way he does it to. Kinda dissapointed in the last verse, not because it wasnt good but it was way too short.

Overall Rating: 57/70= 82%, Overall this is one of the best albums Hip Hop has put out in a while other than 50's first album, It is filled with punchlines through out the CD. Don't believe me give it a listen, you wont be dissapointed.


Rotten Apple
1. Rotten Apple: It's a decent opener, not as good as aint no clique though. You can tell right away that Banks has grown a lot as in artist with his first verse,"Fourty five on my side, shorty rides for his pride, fourty eyes on the prize, now I'm energized." He could have kept 50 n Prodigy off this one because both of them hold the song back. It would have gotten a 4 but the features don't live up to the hype.

2. Survival: One of the few standout records on the album, Great beat by Yung RJ RIce.flow for the song and great lyrics. Kinda goes of point with the hook, "Poppa was a rolling stone, never came back home n now I'm on my own, so I had to learn a few things about survival."
But still a good song.

3. Playboy Pt. 2: It's almost a recycled beat of the first one. IT's really disapointing. Nice lyrics but the production just ruins the song. It sounds to forced so he can do his stop n go flow again. One of the beats Ron Browz would like to take out of his works.

4. Cake: Everybody has heard this. Great song, Is really original with the 'cake' idea throughout the song. Banks has two good versus and surprisingly 50 spits some of his best stuff in a while.
BUt the only downfall of this song is it's too short.

5. Make A Move: The first thing you notice is that beat is different. But in a good way. Excellent verses for Banks' in this song and a good hook. Just some more bragging about himself though.

9. Know the Deal: It is top 2 or 3 songs on the album. It features Rakim but only for the hook. Kinda slow beat but banks flows with it good. He straight kills each verse he spits in this song. But his best verse is the 3. It's probably the best verse on the cd. OVerall a really good song.

10. Get Clapped: It's a straight gangsta record. He is adressing the people that think he's gone Hollywood. The production isn't great though. But good verses save the song and a surprisingly good verse for P.

11. Stranger: Banks seems half a sleep in this song, or high as fuck, I'm not sure which. The verses are decent but it's hard to listen to the song without drifting off.

12. Change: The production isn't great but this is his most lyrical song he probably has ever made. His lyrical slaughter saves the song from the bad production. He is talking about how people have "Fucked up the game" since he was gone for 2 years. I think he's adressing the south on this.

13. New York, New York: Slow beat but not bad. Has a good hook and gets ya saying New York New York in it. Both good verses by banks but are slowed down just a bit to fit the beat. He also in my opinion has his best punchline, "Get close and popped like hot bacon out the pot." good song.

14. One Night Stand: Onther chick song, *sighs*, not bad either though. Talks about him warning girls of his one night stands because he will be in a different city the next day.

15. Iceman: Probably the most hyped song on the album. Not bad but Scarface ruins the song with his shitties verse he has ever wrote. Has a catchy hook but the lyrics from everyone are average at the best.

16. Gilmores: Great song, why can't every song be on this level? Talks about how people from his hood have nothing to live for. I think he's talking about a cymentary when he says "We aint got shit to live for, your either headed for the pen or on your way to Gilmores." You be the judge but I think I'm right.
The only bad song is it's so good it makes you wanting more from banks since he doesnt have as many songs as this. Plus it's too short, only 2 verses. Would have been a 5 but no 3rd verse.

Rotten Apple was such a big dissapointment but an average cd because it had so much hype and it didn't live up to it. It lacks all the killer punchlines it did from his first album. But with the first album being so great it's hard to go anywhere but down from it. I hope his 3rd album will be better and he learned from his bad decisions,*coughs* Don't let a bitch steall your cd *cough*. It coulda been a great cd with it mixed with the Big withdrawl.

no hate, but i hate how they promoted RA.. the first 2 singles off of RA was like recycled from H4M. the first songs was an eminem produced song featuring 50 and the second songs was a chick song. i think hands up was a good song but it followed the same procedure as on fire. they shouldnt have kept the same formula as H4M. H4M was a great introduction album but RA didnt show too much growth in my opinion. its ok but a recycled version of H4M. banks should have expressed himself more and show himself more as a solo artist than just 50's homeboy. kinda create his own sound, kinda like how young buck is doing and i hate to say it..like game, instead of following the same g unit format he should have grown into his own sound. on the real, banks is lyrical...and he should have showcased that as an artist. kinda like how nas is promoting himself as an m.c. banks should of promoted himself as an m.c. and should of dropped his most lyrical songs ever. kinda be like the modern day biggie but his own person. they get paid off of this shit so when u drop an album u got to drop your best shit.....and banks can do better than RA. but anyways this is jus my opinion. i heard a couple of tracks off of MMITB5 and they sound tight so keep doing ur thing banks

Rotten apple is better than H4M in a lyrical way ... he improved a lot compared to H4M . The beats on H4m were better .

i dont know bout yall but the first song, well freestyle i heard banks on was "banks victory" and it dont get much better than that his flow his delivery the punches everything bout it was krazy he never really topped those lyrics on a freestyle or song the only song that can compete is "til the end"... but in my opinion THFM was alot better because he had more subject matter and the production was a lil better also he had way better punches and his vocab was better on THFM, RA was disappointin becuz he didnt get better he really slacked and it really seemed like a rushed album becuz the songs on TBW where more raw and he still sounded hungry, on RA it seemed like he just wrote anything down that rhymed wit no real direction ... banks has fallin off though, a lot of my niggaz that listened to banks dont really like him anymore cuz he startin to sound like everybody else, he has nomore clever punches and he sounds different for some reason ..if he does get his hunger back he needs to make sure no groupie steals his CD and leaks it cuz the songs on TBW where unmastered but the lyrics where tough like on the song "if you aint holdin'" he had some tough lyrics example: "you niggas aggravatin' us wit ya borin' raps/ i done put more rims on the floor than shaq/" and "i gotta maybach, all black, im knightrider/ and the silencer 'ill make a mac sound like a typewriter" .. damn! wut happened to this nigga banks man

The Hunger For More is clearly the better album but Rotten Apple isn't bad, good instrumentals and has a few decent tracks (Get Clapped, Rotten Apple, Survival, Make A Move & NY, NY)
