WORRRD its back, Nas is back ... my review!!!

1. Money Over Bullshit - sick ass piano beat, thumpin drums ... Nas brings the lyrics ... sickness wow .. great fuckin song .. impressive way to start a CD .... 5/5

2. You Can't Kill Me - Great storytelling again from Nas... over a fast paced melody .. nice beat .. great lyrics ... 5/5

3. Carry On Tradition - Nice beat, lyrics .. WOW! ... talks about why Hip Hop is dead, and it's real talk ...and seems to take a shot at 50 on the last line in the 3rd verse... 5/5 (best track so far)

4. Where Are They Now - Nice lyrics, paying tribute to old skool rappers, but i'm not feelin the beat too much ... its sampled, but its kinda weird ... 4/5

5. Hip Hop Is Dead - Great first single.. most y'all heard it .. 4.5/5

6. Who Killed It - Tight beat ... its old school, but it's kinda like 50's as well.. Nas does this funny 40's/50's accent .. the lyrics is tight and it's really creative man .. wow ... fuckin sick ... 5/5

7. Black Republican Ft. Jay Z - "I KNOW YOU CAN FEEL THE MAGIC BABY!" Sick song .. most y'all heard it so i wont go into depth ... 4/5 even Jay brings is nice

8. Not Going Back Ft. Kelis - BEST BEAT SO FAR!!!! ... wow .. sick sick sick siiiiiick ... grimy as lyrics ... the New York shit you expect from Nasir Jones ... Kelis sings it nice too .. real tight collabo b/w the wifey and hubby .... Nas talkin about not goin back to the streets ... 5/5

9. Still Dreaming Ft. Kanye West - typical beat from K-West ... sample as usual, but it's nice .. slowish and quiet ... Kanye has a nice first verse, his cheezy but affective lyrics work ... Nas breaks it down as you'd expect ... 4.5/5

10. Hold Down The Block - Tight ass beat, with a nice sample ... again Nas brings it.... (see a pattern yet? THEY ARE ALL HEAT ROCKS!) ... love it ... 5/5

11. Blunt Ashes - produced by Chris Webber??? well damn C-Webb is pretty good as production .. cuz this beat is sick.. it's eerie .. and then when the hook kicks in the horns explode .. damn... Nas has a cool slow flow on this track and lyrics talkin about lots of things ... you can tell he's high cuz he raps slow .... 5/5

12. Let There Be Light Ft. Tre Williams - man i swear to god Nas takes another shot at 50 in this track too... talking about Primo and then snitching ... nice beat, kinda 70's ... Tre sings the hook nice and soulful ... lyrics sick as usual 4.5/5

13. Play On Playa Ft. Snoop Dogg - nice beat .. sounds kinda like a west coast beat .. but it's all good ... Nas does his thing even when he's rappin bout jewlery and shit ... Snoop keeps it gully too ... nice verse from him ... 4/5

14. Can't Forget About You Ft. Chrisette Michele - Great song... juss reminissin on shit, talkin about when he's an old guy and shit ... and about rap and life and how it used to be ... the hook kinda sucks, and the bells get kinda annoying in the beat ... so great song, but i'd have to say it's my least favorite one 4/5

15. Hustlers Ft. The Game & Marsha - the first time i heard this song i almost jizzed (no homo) .. sick Dre beat, and the sickest in a while from him, word,... Nas kills it .. and suprisingly so does Game ... sick song... my favorite song!!! ... hook is nice Marsha do her thing ....6/5

16. Hope (Accapella) - who fuckin needs a beat... when you can murk AIR ... talkin about hip hop... and at the end explains .. its not about any certain region (ahem -south -ahem) ... and he says "if you askin why is hip hop dead, then you prolly the reason it is!" ... word real talk ... the chick's singing at the end is annoying tho, but a great way to end off this album ....4/5


ok i give this a solid 5/5 ... a XXXXL ... a *****/***** .... it's just wow .. great album ... sick album... instant classic album .. and dont think im juss talkin outta my ass... check it and you'll agree.... and DECEMBER 19TH GO TO YOUR NEAREST RECORD STORE AND BUY THIS ALBUM ... IT WONT BE MONEY WASTED TRUST ME!!

This was a good ass album. Completely shitted on Jay-Z's album IMO. Beats are sick and Nasis spittin some nice shit on this. I wasnt expecting it to be that good. But I am very pleased to say that this is one of the best albums this year. Good Review yo. Maybe a little over the top but I agree with you on most of the shit. Props yo.

this was a GOOD album. its nowhere near great. im a bit dissapointed, but my expectations were too high. this review is shit, there are a few songs that are total ass that he gives a 4 or 5 too. i liked street disciples better actually, that cd had some ass songs too but just cause there were so many.

id give it a 3.5 out of 5 - to me a classic cd is one that even a non fan would think is the shit, and this isnt that. its good 0 its better than games and jay z easily. but its just good - and with the shit nas is talking (HIP HOP IS DEAD) good doesnt seem enough to me.
