Obama is gives a speech in a Christian setting and the White House requests the y cover up the Christian religion symbols in the background. If he was giving a speech in a muslim setting, would they cover up the symbols?

wow. at a time when we're dealing with two wars in the Middle East, the President didn't want to talk about those issues with massive Christian symbolism over his shoulder when the last President used the word Crusade.

Glad we finally have a smart President who cares about our national security and prosperity, after the last clown who fucked our economy and made us less safe

I just feel that America might change to be like some european country, not the great country it has been for centuries. So that is why he wants Muslims to love him. I get it. If these comments represent Texas, how can you wish Texas would secede? PS I have only lived in Texas for less than a month. And its cool as hell. There is no state tax. And it has helped make Texas the most prosperous state probably. Don't hate.

"Spread the wealth" is not an expression that reflects the statement that the president cares about our prosperity. What do you call what Obama is doing to the economy right now? It is unnecessary spending imo. The same that Bush did but even more. I put them in the same category. We need new leadership. We need change, but not this kind of change.

lol, what parallel universe are you living in? obama is pursuing the exact same policies as bush in the middle east (he went so far as to keep the same secretary of defense).. what exactly has he changed policy wise? he has increased military spending, gotten us into yet another unwinnable, unsustainable war with no exit strategy or end in sight that is making us more enemies in the region (and is even more of a challenge than iraq was) , has taken the same stance as bush on the states secret privilege, supports doing whatever israel wants, supports global empire.

what exactly has changed other than the letter next to his name and your own perception? covering up some religious symbols hardly qualifies as a policy change. i think you're living in a different reality than the one everyone else is.
