I don't think there was anyone who wasn't in doubt of Saddam's intentions. However, the Bush Administration created chaos in Iraq and it was all because the supposed WMD's. How is it not utterly irresponsible and criminal to invade a country without the UN's approval and without even confirmation of correct intelligence? Tens of thousands of people have died needlessly.

The Bush Administration has also linked Al Qaeda and Saddam, while they, especially at the beginning, even had trouble linking 9/11 and Bin Laden. Now, Bush is taunting Syria and Iran while they've admitted they haven't got any proof against those countries that they are aiding Iraqi insurgents.

Alleged terrorists are imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay for an indefinite time, with their legal rights stripped. All the Administration does is drawing conclusions prematurely and they're doing it with thousands of lifes at stake.

Recently, the new minister of Defense has implicitly labeled China and Russia as the U.S.'s enemy. Some are saying we're facing yet another arms race with China and diplomatic relations with Russia are also deteriorating.

Personally, I don't care who was involved and of which party and I think that if you're one of those peoples that do care, you haven't got your priorities straight.

If he did where are they now! this war was about securing american interests such as the oil reserves and protection for Israel while it commits atrocities against the poor people of Palestine as well as the devastation caused by the attacks on Lebanon.

I was talking about before the invasion. My point is simply that Saddam couldn't be trusted so no-one could 'know' he had such weapons. What the U.S.'s intentions are with toppling Saddam is a whole 'nother story, though I would not consider it evident or even fairly plausible that they would risk so much to clear the oil.
