I just use goldwave and shorten the song to what length u want, then as long as it is under 600kb it will work, if not, lower the quality a little bit. Make sure you save as an mp3.

why dont u jus drag n drop ur files into ur memory card under ringtones?

They have to be 600kb or under or it won't let you use it as a ringtone.
