i appreciated the fact that it was 'real' and that it would be like real life if that shit actually happened...however, a monster like that is not going to drop out of the sky and attack us, so id appreciate a little more explanation.

like everything fit...all the elements fell into place, but it was still bunk...

i saw the movie of course, n there was a scene @ the end where they r showing the beach and i think someone said yu can kind of see something popping out of the water(i didnt catch this scene cuz i wasnt paying attention apparently)...so if this scene did happen, then it came from the ocean obviously...but any half intelligent person would realize this, and lol @ yu expecting a biography on this creature history

n the whole point of this movie is 2 put yu in the peoples shoes...for once yu know just as much as as the people in the movie, yu bet is as good as theres...pretty realistic, so i'd say that you didnt "appreciated the fact that it was 'real' "

certain inconsistencies

like it took like 30 minutes for them to get to the monster...most of the fluff leading up was..fluff...lol...just seems like filler.

and i wasnt expecting a backstory on the monster, but if a fucking monster drops out of the sky, then i think you could do a better job explaining it, especially if you come in contact with the military and they willing LET you walk out against their orders...i mena, no explanation as to why the girl exploded or was killed or w/e...

and the second thing is the fucking camera...there were several points in the movie where the dude kept coming back for the thing and thats not real. in life or death, cameras dont matter...

at the end why would the helicopter fly right by the fucking monster? retarded...and somehow they survive the crash unscathed? pfft.

goodpoint....i no longer feel like arguing but i will say tha monster was pretty good, original for the most part imo(i saw for the most part because originality in movies is so hard 2 find now-a-days)

If it wasnt hyped to you, generally u'll have a better opinion on it. I heard nothing about it, went to see it, and personally rly enjoyed it. the ending fucked with some ppl but what else do u want? It fit. i pretty much agree with menace.
