Freestyle Battling
Yall have to read this.
Guys, we really need to talk about this Freestyling thing. When people Freestyle, they don't Freestyle off the top, they usually get the rap battles and freestyle battles messed up. Freestyling and Rapping are two different things. Freestyle Battling is a improvisational way of rapping against your opponent, and Rap Battling is a articulate and a perfect way to get quick props and publicity. People keep doing things and keep on thinking that they're the best at the game that they play and get away with, so I'm assuming when there's a strong opponent that comes against this rap battler, he'll still lose because the dude that wrote his stuff (the rap battler), is still rawler than him? He has no skills, the strong opponent was coming off the top. But my point is, people got to realise what skill is, skills has something to do with struggling and the knowledge that you hold, even if your the two opponents are alike, the Judges will decide, but if you just rap battling (reciting stuff that you wrote), then there's no struggle, that's something old, not anything new. For real, people got to step it up. Yall can neg me if yall want, I'm just saying. This rap game needs to change up.

whether it's written or off the dome...if you are ethering the opponent with personals, it doesn't take away from the effect of the battle essence IMO.

lol.....99% of the people who "freestyle" are pre-written
i've done Shit loads of actual freestyles......ain't my favorite thing to do...i ain't great at it....but i'd rather do an actual freestyle then have it labeled freestyle and it really isn't.... |
