After years of releasing mix cds on the underground Giggs finally started to get
recognition from the media for his hard work and determination. The south London
rapper reveals his pain, strife and tribulations through his lyrics on tracks.
Since the release of Ard Bodied a mix cd which was released in December 2007, Giggs
has seen his reputation grown from strength to strength. The cd to date has sold over
3000 copies on the underground and is still a strong seller.
Giggs has received over 600,000 views on his myspace and regularly gets 5,000 plays
per a day on there.
He is currently Tim Westwoods favorite artist. Tim Westwood recently dedicated the
open 20mins of his radio show to Giggs and still played more of his tracks towards
the end.
Giggs has previously been featured on single Up in the Shoobz alongside O.T.B.
produced by Danny Weed from Roll Deep. The track was heavily rotated on the likes of
channel U, MTV Base and radio stations such as 1xtra and Choice.
Currently on youtube Giggs has received over 1,000,000 views for 2 freestyle videos
he has on there.
Walk In The Park is the first OFFICIAL release from Giggs and even though it has yet
to be released is all ready being tipped as a classic album.
