Meth is a beast, but I always felt Rae's Purple tape was better than Tical. Tical was one of the illest albums though, they all put out sick solo's.
Fif is entitled to his own opinion, but Liquid Swords was a classic to me.

Not true and your list proves it. GZA's first released album was Words from the Genius and Ghost's first album was Ironman. Both albums you mentioned (Liquid Swords and Supreme Clientele) are both better than their debut albums imo. Nonetheless, anyone who thinks Meth is "the best" out of the Wu Tang Clan is out of their damn minds.

it's a matter of taste as there are legends. personally i like method man the best because of his flow and delivery, although others in the wu may have been better lyrically

They are considered legends as a group, but not individually. Sorry to break it to you, but U-God is not a "legend" unless it's a "matter of your taste".

And I haven't seen one person here even mention GZA or Inspectah Deck. Don't understand how people mention Liquid Swords a classic but not have him mentioned as one of the higher ups amongst the Wu. The argument and debate can go on forever, but take a listen to his discography and compare it to Meth's. I ain't shittin' on Meth because dude can kill it, but come on. As for Deck, I ain't really gotta say shit other than "Triumph".
