Mobb Deep associate Nyce recently spoke on incarcerated rapper Prodigy and revealed how 50 Cent may have him out of prison by the end of 2009.

While not going into full detail, Nyce said the G-Unit leader is working to get Prodigy out from behind bars.

"Shout-out to Fif because that's why I love him so much," he said in an interview. "A lot of people think that Fif is such a bad guy, he a bad guy because he hates you. He's a real good dude and right now he's trying to get P out a little bit earlier like December, January. And I'm really thankful for that 'cause P is the chain that keeps the bike moving. So I definitely respect him for that. I grew up with Fif, [Lloyd] Banks and [Tony] Yayo." (Forbez DVD)

The Alchemist recently addressed Prodigy's work ethic despite being in prison.

"In all actuality, I am actually putting beats on cassettes and sending them to P," Al revealed in an interview. "P made a couple of power moves and he got himself a hold of some paper and he wrote...there's a good chance that he'll still have them when he's released. Anybody who's that interested [with the beats] will just have to wait until the god P comes home and then we'll see what happens. But just know that music doesn't stop. We have telephones and paper and communication and he's writing and I'm making the beats and you can pretty much gurantee that we're going to make some pretty good sh*t. We're both conscious of what we've already made and we're not going to make the same sh*t. We're both staying working and it's nothing. The world ain't ready." (Hip Hop Game)

Mobb Deep's Havoc previously hit up SOHH to dispel past rumors on P's bad health conditions.

"His health is good as far as I know," Hav revealed last November. "He's in good spirits. He wants to get the f*ck out but he's feeling good. We just want to hurry up and get him home and get back to normal life." (SOHH)

The rapper pleaded guilty in October 2007 to gun possession which led to his current incarceration.

Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years behind bars after pleading guilty to a weapons charge dating back to 2006. Authorities say Prodigy was pulled over in downtown Manhattan after he was spotted driving in the opposite direction on a one-way street in an attempt to claim a parking spot. A search of the car turned up an unlicensed .22-caliber pistol. He will begin his sentence January 2008. (Hip Hop Galaxy)
