The Game has reportedly been chosen to star in the upcoming film House Arrest alongside actress Stacey Dash later this year.

While details are still scarce, the rapper will be featured in the film alongside a variety of actors.

High maintenance girl meets quick money scheming man. Up the road and down the hill they go like Jack and Jill facing drama, after drama after drama. In addition to starring in films like Waist Deep and Street Kings, he was previously featured in the film Belly 2.

The sequel to 1999's Belly starring West Coast rapper The Game skipped a theatrical release and hit retail stores yesterday (August 12). Titled Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club, the film stars the Black Wall Street leader alongside actress Shari Headley and is based in Compton, California. It places Game as "G," a recently released convict who gets back in to the drug game, who meets Headley's character, Alexis, who is secretly an undercover DEA agent. Both withholding the truth about their actual occupations, their love relationship takes a dramatic turn as a twist is found at the end of the movie. (SOHH)

Aside from films, the rapper is reportedly set to unleash multiple mixtapes this summer.

The Game is in L.A. right now, working on The R.E.D. Album with Cool & Dre. Although a release date has not been set, The Game will release unofficial projects this summer. "This summer, it ain't a n*gga that's gonna out-mixtape me," Game said in an interview. "I'm dropping a mixtape every week. It ain't gonna be like no bullsh*t mixtape sh*t. I'm dropping mixtapes that sound better than people's albums. The first one is gonna be the Bloody Thumb with the red thumb print on the front." (MTV)

While early reports of a possible G-Unit reunion including Game spread online earlier this year, Black Wall Street producer Nu Jerzey Devil recently said it would not take place.

"Never," Devil said in a phone interview. "Never. I mean, I don't know, I can't speak on them but I know Game won't be a part of it but if they want to do their little G-Unit [reunion] without Game maybe that's something possible. But as far as Game being in it? Never. You know what I mean?" (Champ Magazine)

No further information on House Arrest has yet been released.

game doesnt have a movie career yet. now lets look at 50. get rich or die tryin - success. home of the brave - nominated for an oscar. righteous kill - #3 at the box office and was with pacino & deniro.
