Rumor 50 cent to Drop BISD September 8th Detox In December

50 Cent may have inadvertently let the cat out the bag during a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Earlier this week, the rapper who's been putting the final touches on his fourth and final contractual studio album, hinted at a possible SoundScan clash with Jay-Z on September 11th, 2009.

During the interview, Fif confirmed Before I Self Destruct would be hitting stores during the second week of September.

Since albums are typically released on Tuesdays, it's safe to assume Before I Self Destruct will be hitting stores on September 8th.

Dr. Dre and Eminem have been confirmed to be both producers and guests on the album, with one track title, "Norman Bates Motel," already being confirmed.

Other producers include, Play-N-Skillz, Red Spyda, Scott Storch, Don Cannon, J.R. Rottem, Dj Premiere and many more.

With the release of Before I Self Destruct being confirmed, Dr. Dre's Detox may soon follow with a late fourth quarter release.

Earlier this year Fif assured fans Detox would hit stores after he and Eminem drop their respective releases.

I personally believe that if Detox were to come out soon, it would sell 1 Million in the first week. Business wise Dre and Iovine probably make the best team. With a good lead single(specifically a good west coast banger) coming out at the right time and a little promotion with it, maybe say about a month-month and a half before Detox release date? Detox could EASILY sell 1 mill in the first week.

i think fif's album will be out in sept cuz hes releasing the war angel lp on tuesday, and he has two more mixtapes comin this summer...i would love to see him and hova drop on the same day..i think it would be good for hip hop.

as far as detox goes, i would love to see it drop this year but im not gettin my hopes up lol

Detox aint never dropping they same shit year after year that the detox is going to drop but we all know in our minds that the detox aint going to drop!

when the detox does drop whoever it will be epic in all proportions!

I don't want to see that happen... It's pretty obvious Jay-Z will win if that happened... Now tell me this if you had between 50 album and Jay-Z album who would you choose... A rapper that steadily declining in good material or someone that is consider The Best Rapper Alive... me personally I would probably buy both like I did when Curtis vs. Graduation but be honest who you think would win outta that battle.

You know I'm starting to believe in Detox, there was an article posted here not too long ago where Just Blaze spoke on the BP3 and Detox, and he said Dr. Dre has been saying it for years, just to put it out there, and now he just only started working hard on it in November.

He's never scrapped it or anything, he just did some sessions and some songs leaked but that's about it up until November 2008. And think about it, a little after November, all the reference tracks leaked. And now he's actually promoting a beat done from a Detox Session in a Dr. Pepper commercial that's aired world wide.

I'm hopeful for Detox, I'm starting to believe it more and more now.

I would buy both, but what makes you think jay would win? Cause his label would buy records? If you look at it, Curtis sold more than Kingdom Come, which wasnt that Jays comeback album? And Curtis sold more than Am Gangster. So who says Jay would win, Fifs last album outsold both of them first week, now maybe the label would buy his shit and just like with kanye, some might buy Jays shit so Fifty will lose. But it would be a big thing, though it wont happen, if your them, why take away sales from yourself, there are people who will only have money for one album, plus they both can be number 1 on different weeks, so why drop the same week? I dont think they will.

Detox aint dropping this year, they split Relapse into 2 albums instead of doing a double cd cause they knew they could split it into two albums and since Detox wont drop this year, they can get that big Dec holiday album sales and shit with another Em album. Detox maybe next year, spring or summer, we'll see.

It's be another Kanye vs 50 only not as bad. I know people that bought Graduation b/c they hated 50 and if the Jay shit went down it'd be the same thing only a little closer b/c both of them pretty hated.
