Eminem associate DJ Whoo Kid recently spoke on the controversy between Em and Nick Cannon, and identified Mariah Carey as the center of the beef.

Speaking with radio personalities Opie and Anthony, the G-Unit deejay took Em's side in the beef.

"One of the main reasons [he's popular] is he f*cked Mariah Carey," Whoo Kid said in an interview. "That's hot right there. No condom too? What. He peed on her and everything too. He was like the first R. Kelly situation. He's actually against Nick Cannon. I don't see Nick Cannon really going back at him 'cause he's like the weirdo of the hip-hop community 'cause he married this girl for nothin'. For money I guess. He's like the reverse gold digger or something, I don't know. That's what they call him now, so." (Opie & Anthony)

Nick recently made headlines after responding to Em's verbal jabs on "Bagpipes From Baghdad."

"At first I thought it was old material that had been dug up from when dude "fantasized" about having a pretend fling with Mariah," Cannon wrote via his blog. "So as I further examine the track, I hear dude cross the line. He begins to call my wife out of her name! Now as y'all know, I don't take that type of nonsense lightly. Em's recently leaked track opens up name-checking Mariah.

Despite Cannon's claims of Em fabricating his relationship with Mariah, Slim previously discussed the details of their break-up around 2006.

"Yes, me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months," Eminem said recently on his Shade 45 channel. "[But] it didn't work. I wasn't really into what she was into; our personalities collided. She's a diva, and I'm a little more regular, I guess." (Shade 45)
