Game Says Red Album Winter 09 Saigon Still On Atlantic
West Coast rapper The Game, who claimed he was heading into retirement after his last LP, is now back in the studio working on his fourth album.
Game says the album will be titled "The R.E.D. Album" but didn't give much detail into exactly what those letters stand for. In a recent interview after his last tour stop, Game stated that although he has been working on the album--he doesn't have a particular concept for it. "I don't really have a concept yet," The Game says. "I did a couple records in New York that I really like a lot but not till I get back to Cali is when I'm really going to go in." Game confirmed the album release for the fourth quarter this winter via his twitter page. Saigon Still On Atlantic In other news, New York rapper Saigon, who had a highly publicized beef with his recording him, now says he is still on the troubled label. Hell Rell Q&A Session In May of 2008, producer Just Blaze announced that Saigon had officially been released from Atlantic Records after three years of repeated album delays. In a recent interview, Saigon says he's still on Atlantic Records. "I'm still on Atlantic Records. My lawyer schooled me, they never released me. 'They never let you go.' They say it, but I'm still technically signed to Atlantic Records...shout to everybody on Atlantic."
