Eminem “Relapses” This May, Plans Sequel For Later In The Year

Originally scheduled to drop in 2008, Slim Shady’s long awaited and highly anticipated comeback disc, Relapse, has officially received a May 19th release date.

MTV News reports that not only will Eminem finally deliver his first album in over four years, he also plans to put another CD on shelves by the end of ’09. “A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year,” Em shared in a press release. “I was one of them. Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre. Putting out Relapse 2 will let everyone get all of the best stuff.”

As XXLmag.com previously reported, Shady’s artist 50 Cent – recently revealed that his album, Before I Self Destruct, has been pushed back until after Relapse comes out. – Elan Macini

eminem putting out 2 albums in the same year is just not going to happen. It will be the best, in the one album, which is good..

i dont believe two albums this year either, but i believe if he dies tomorrow he'll have enough material to last a lifetime

Your right about that, Just like 2Pac after he died they kept releasing albums like crazy and with Eminem recording over 300 songs like he said when he was away for 4 years they will definitely put out plenty of albums if he died anytime soon
