By the looks of things some of you think Rick Ross is headed for a tomb next to Ja Rule in hip-hop’s cemetary. I think he still has a shot to survive if he shuts up and keeps putting out fire. There’s been some classic diss records over the years. Common severely beat Ice Cube back in the day, but he lived to tell. Nas ethered Jay, but it wasn’t enough to sideline the God MC permanently. Some weren’t as fortunate though. In some cases, diss records or its complimentary campaigns can literally end careers. Let’s take a look shall we.

G-Unit: Hate him or love him, you have to credit Game for damaging the G-Unit brand. While 50 Cent is still standing, Game’s relentless jabs proved deadly for soldiers like Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and former member Young Buck. Don't forget Game destroyed Spider Loc's chances at fame. Spider Loc was getting buzz while being in G-unit's videos and then Loc put out 2 disses to Game. Then Game came back with 240 Bars and lyrically destroyed him. Plus the DJ at the end really dug into Spider Loc's personal and financial issues. After that, Spider isn't being put in any videos, not doing any guest spots on virtually anything, except the occasional G-unit song, but even 50 said he doesn't believe in him. Spider was officially shelved in 2006 courtesy of Game and the last two years courtesy of G-unit haha.

^I will agree that at this point...Yayo and Banks aren't nothing but 50's hypemen but at the same time...them as a group are still one of the biggest and most successful in Hip Hop. The Wu don't even get shows in Venazuela.

SIDE NOTE: Its not fair for people to only look at G-Unit success as 50, Banks and Yayo...when Buck and Game were poppin..that was under the G-Unit brand. Just because there not down anymore doesn't mean G-Unit wasn't a empire at one point.

Oow hell noo. I'm a fan from G-UNIT but I don't agree Game damaged them. What G-UNIT is going through everybody is going through. The last albums from Banks and Buck flopped but is Game responsible for that? NO! He was the one who made the hardest disses against G-UNIT at went at them most of the time but he didn't damaged G-UNIT.

How can you damage G-UNIT by saying many times you don't got beef with them and trying to squash it????

Based on that I don't give Game credit for damaging G-UNIT. Only if G-UNIT would accept Game's offer to sqaush the beef but they didn't, won't and never will. Think about it. If 50, Banks and Yayo squash beef with Game it would be so much better for both parties. Game probably wanna squash beef everytime. G-UNIT don't go out like that and I respect that cuz they are still standing even though they probably know it could make things better.

Yeah they suffered some damage but not from Game.
