Dr. Dre Sues Friend For $100,000
Producer Dr. Dre filed a lawsuit recently against Bruce Williams, the author of a recently published book about the good doctor called Rollin' With Dre.
According to TMZ, Dre (real name: Andre Young) filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Country Superior Court on Tuesday (October 28), claiming he loaned Williams $101,377.85 and was stiffed. Williams released the book last March, which detailed his life working alongside the popular music producer. He described himself as Dre's go-to guy for over 16 years. Additionally, the book touches on Dre's personal and professional life, as well as discussion about some of the more mysterious events in his hip-hop circle, including Death Row's internal operations.
