Article 40 Glocc address Lil' Wayne

For those of you who have been keeping up with the Dirty Blog you know how I posted the 40 Glocc piece before and was bothered by the whole dam thing. And really its because I would hate to see someone get hurt over not really understanding what they have gotten themselves into.

Well DJ Vlad has a new interview with 40 and it was by far the best thing that ever could have happen. The reason I say this is because when we first saw footage of the situation 40 basically looked as if he was about to tear somebody's head off. But this time you got to see the side of 40 Glocc that commands respect. He gives you the reason he's getting at Wayne in a clear precise manner.

Lets be honest for a second. Every thing that 40 says in this interview is truly legitimate and understandable. A lot of brothers have died. We all remember when "Bangin on Wax" came out. And we were in love with the music. But what we didn't realize was that peoples' lives were at stake. Bloods and Crips have had to hurdle so many obstacles to get were they are and still have a ways to go.

Check out the video and you can see the pain and frustration of a real gang member who has an opportunity to push and be a positive force within his circle and across the country. Then you have a rapper that claims a gang for unknown reasons and says disrespectful things in gang lingo. Which to those that have put in serious time this is truly disrespectful. And I'm sure Wayne didn't realize what he was indirectly instigating.

Hopefully amongst the media that will feed off of this and hope for some type of clash between Wayne and 40 Glocc. There will instead be a much needed dialogue on the rules of respect. This is clearly too much entertainment entering into the world of real life.

I want to commend 40 Glocc because I bashed the actions earlier knowing that this was the main cause, but it could only be said from the horses mouth. What he's addressing should be replayed by anyone wishing or thinking of getting into a gang and you really don't have it to do. Parents need to show there kids this piece. The are a few other rappers that have since joined up to rep a gang all of a sudden and hopefully they won't put themselves in the same position in the future.

Next up is BG addressing why he choose Atlantic over Interscope. Notice how he is reluctant at first. To me this shows how some artist really don't be wanting to deal with the bullsh*t way that the media can twist their words or actions if they are not careful.

One day all in media will realize we don't have a responsibility to get the scoop or the story. This is not the New York Post. We have a responsibility to these entertainers and to our people to bring forth intelligent dialogue. When we ask questions like some messy b*tch in the lunchroom from high school we get the ratings and responses, but at what cost to our community? If the hip hop publications are only asking questions about the latest beef and nonsense then what do you expect the non hip-hop publications to do? If not us who?

this dude is lame....... you know i do doubt wayne being a blood but who cares in this world of hip hop now so many free passes are given.....so if i had to pick one artist i'd pick wayne......sucks i gotta do that..but better then other stupid mother fuckers and how come a blood gang hasnt come out to say anything? and if there has send me a link i wanna see or read lol
